more or less, situate in Benger District, being Sec-
tion No. 61, Block II., on the map of the said
district. Bounded towards the North by a road-
line, 1680 links; towards the South-east by a road-
line, 1080 links; and towards the South-west by a
road-line, 1480 links. For a quarry and gravel-pit.

SOUTHLAND.

All that parcel of land in the Southland Division
of the Provincial District of Otago, containing by
admeasurement 132 acres 1 rood, being Sections
Nos. 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, and 45, Block
IV., Menzies Ferry Township. Bounded on the
North by Exeter Street, 3468-8 links; towards the
East by Matta Road, 4167-2 links; on the South by
Sections Nos. 35 and 34 of said block, 3211-9 links;
and towards the West by Athens Road, 228-5 links
and 3954-6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less. For a recreation-ground.

Governor, this twenty-ninth day of March,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-

Trustees appointed for the Maintenance of Te Arai
Public Cemetery.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and au-
thorities vested in me by the second section
of "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I,
Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several per-
sons whose names are specified in the first column of
the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the
maintenance and care of the public cemetery speci-
fied in the second column of the said Schedule.

JOHN WELSH
to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first
elections of seven Commissioners for the Town District
of Kaitangata, as constituted under "The Town Dis-
tricts Act, 1881;" also to appoint Wednesday, the
3rd May, 1882, to be the day for holding the said
elections, and the Athenæum, Kaitangata, to be the
place for holding the said elections; also to appoint
Monday, the 8th May, 1882, at 7 o'clock in the
evening, to be the time, and the said Athenæum,
Kaitangata, to be the place, for the first meeting of
the Commissioners.
