HAVING considered the application of Arama Karaka Mokinuarangi and others in this behalf, dated the
13th day of October last, and received by me on the 25th day of October 1881, for the rehearing of
a claim to the block of land called Pokohu, in the District of Bay of Plenty, which was decided by the
Native Land Court at Whakatane, on the 20th and 21st days of October, 1881, I hereby, in pursuance of the
authority given to me by "The Native Land Court Act, 1880," dismiss the same.

Notice of Times and Places for investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose
names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of
land of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are
published in the third column will be investigated at Ohinemuri, on the 20th day of April next, and
following days.

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Courthouse of the Resident
Magistrate, Grahamstown.

The Governor Waiharakeke East Bounded towards the North by the Aroha Block, and a portion of the Tauranga confiscation boundary, 24360 links; towards the North- east by the Tauranga confiscation boundary, 48116 links; and towards the South and West by the Wairere Creek and the Waihou River, 79700 links
The Governor Waihou West No. 4 Bounded towards the North by the Waihou West Nos. 2 and 3 Blocks; towards the East by the Waihou River; towards the South and South-east by Native land; and towards the West by Native land.
The Governor Te Tautiti No. 2 Bounded towards the East by Te Tautiti No. 1 Block, by a line 17500 links; towards the South-west by Native land, by a line 10490 links; and towards the West by Native land, by a line 9822 links to Ahuakura, the point of commencement.
Riki Paaka and Rapata Te Pokiha Whakapohi, near Ohinemuri Commence on the Northern side at the stream of Te Kotai, proceed eastward toward the mountain as far as the boundary of Te Kora, proceed along that boundary of Te Kora southward as far as the stream at Whakapohi, proceed along that stream westward as far as the swamp, cross over northward to the stream at Te Kotai the starting point, and cease
Perereka Te Putu Te Whanake, near Ohinemuri Commence at the Waihou River, proceed eastward a mile, turn northward a mile, return to the Waihou River, and proceed along it to the starting point
Hapi Rewi, Rewi Te Manawa, and Keepa Raharuhi Tokitaria, near Ohinemuri Commence at Te Ahikokowai, Te Mutu, proceed along the old boundary of Piraurahi as far as Tokitaria, turn eastward as far as Te Whanake, turn northward along Te Whanake Stream, proceed and strike the river of Te Kohai, and stop at Te Ahikokowai, the starting point.
