In the matter of "The Execution against Real
Estate Act, 1880," and in the matter of WILLIAM
GEORGE CRAWFORD, Plaintiff, and THOMAS WIL-
LIAM FISHER, Defendant.
NOTICE is hereby given that Garland William
Woon, Esquire, the Sheriff of the Wanganui
and Rangitikei District, has taken in execution under
writ of fieri facias, and will cause to be sold by
public auction, at the Courthouse, Wanganui, at
noon, on Monday, the 27th day of March, 1882,
unless the debt and costs be sooner paid, the
interest of the above-named defendant, Thomas
William Fisher, as tenant in common with one
William Beaumont Fisher, in all that piece or parcel
of land containing 430 acres more or less, situate and
being in the District of Wanganui, on the left bank
of the Wanganui River, and being parts of the
Sections numbered 292 and 293 on the plan of the
said district. Bounded on the South-east and South-
west, beginning at the most eastern point of Sectio
293, where the Mataongaonga Creek enters the said
section, and running along the boundary of the said
Sections 292 and 293 to a point where the boundary
of the said Section 292 turns nearly at a right angle
from a north-westerly to a south-westerly direction
towards the Section numbered 88 on the same plan,
and from the last-mentioned point by a curved line
running north-westerly, 1665 links; thence by lines
2225 links and 1050 links respectively; thence by a
line running north-westerly to a point in the Mata-
ongaonga Creek distant 250 links or thereabouts
from the eastern boundary of the Section numbered
120 on the same plan, 1040 links; and thence by the
Mataongaonga Creek to the commencing point.
The name and address of the Solicitors for the
Execution Creditor are Messieurs Sievwright and
Stout, of Wellington. 192
ROAD DECLARED A COUNTY ROAD.
I HEREBY proclaim, in accordance with section
88 of "The Public Works Act, 1876," the
road known as Pinfold's Road, Woodville, to be a
County Road.

THE Waikato County Council having resolved,
under provision contained in section 21 of "The
Public Works Act, 1876," to take land hereinafter
described for a new road, a plan and accurate
description may be inspected at the Waikato County
Office for forty days from the date hereof, during
which time objections in writing may be addressed to
the Chairman, Waikato County Council, Kirikiriroa.
SCHEDULE.
- All that parcel of land being a portion of Lot
26, the property of Mr. William Aitken, situated in
the Parish of Taupiri, outlying district of Rangiriri,
containing 4 acres 2 roods 34 perches, more or less.
2. That piece of land, portion of Lot 25, the
property of Mr. William Diggles, situated in the
Parish of Taupiri, outlying district of Rangiriri,
containing 1 acre 3 roods 6 perches, more or less.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
THE Kirikiriroa Highway District Board having
resolved, in accordance with provisions contained
in section 21 of "The Public Works Act, 1876," to
take the land hereinafter described for public roads,
plans and accurate descriptions may be inspected at
the residence of the undersigned for forty days from
the date hereof, during which time objections may
be made to the Kirikiriroa Highway Board, addressed
to the Chairman.
SCHEDULE.
- That parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, Colony of New Zealand, containing by
admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods 1 perch, more or less,
situated in the Parishes of Komokorau and Kirikiriroa,
being portion of Lot 220, the property of Ripeka
Nga Hiwi, of the former parish, and of land the
property of the Waikato Land Association, in the
latter parish. - That parcel of land in the Parish of Taupiri,
being a portion of Lot 96, the property of Mr. James
Henry Smith, containing 3 roods 16 perches; that
parcel of land in the Parish of Taupiri, a portion of
Lot 97, the property of the Waikato Land Associa-
tion, containing 2 acres 1 rood 15 perches; and that
parcel of land in the Parish of Komokorau, the
property of Mr. E. C. Gray, containing 5 acres 1 rood
2 perches, more or less.

LYTTELTON PERMANENT LAND, BUILDING, AND
INVESTMENT SOCIETY.
AT a meeting of the Committee of the above
Society, held on Monday, the 19th December,
1881, it was decided that it was desirable to alter and
amend certain of the Society's rules as under, and a
Special Meeting of Members will be held for that
purpose at the Society's Office, Canterbury Street,
Lyttelton, on Tuesday, the 4th April, at 7.30 p.m.
The following are the alterations proposed:—
Rule 5, Clause 3. To strike out all words after
"with interest," and insert "at such rates as the
Committee may from time to time determine."
Rule 5, Clause 5. To strike out all the words
down to and including "per centum per annum,"
and to insert "so soon as the subscription of five
shillings per share upon each share, together with
interest and bonus, if any."
Rule 10, Clause 2. In addition to the table of
redemption payments on advances, to add tables
showing the rate of redemption payments on 1 and
2 per cent. respectively lower than the present
table.
Rule 34. To strike out the words "the rate of
6 per centum per annum," and insert "such rate
per centum per annum as the Committee may from
time to time determine," and to insert a new rule as
follows:—
"The Committee shall have the power, at any
ordinary or special meeting, after receiving notice of
motion from a member of the Committee, given at
