    pany.

  2. The above statement is, to the best of my belief
    and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make
    this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the
    same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
    General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The
    Justices of the Peace Act, 1866."

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Star of the South Gold-Mining
Company (Limited) as a Limited Company under
the provisions of "The Mining Companies Act,
1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Star of the South
    Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of intended operations is at Boatman's, County
    of Inangahua, New Zealand.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Broadway, Reefton, County of Inangahua, New Zealand.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-four
    thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of one pound
    each, ten shillings of which is considered as paid-up capital.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty-four thou-
    sand, being the whole of the shares in the Company.
  6. The amount already paid up is twelve thousand pounds.
  7. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  8. The name of the Manager is George Charles Bowman.
  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the shareholders,
    and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as

pany (Limited) as a Limited Company under the

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Happy Valley
    Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of intended operations is at Merrigigs, in the
    County of Inangahua.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Broadway, Reefton, County of Inangahua, New Zealand.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is twenty-four
    thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of one pound
    each, ten shillings of which is considered as paid-up capital.
