Commence at Whakapoungakou Mountain and
proceed to Te Kopua beside Lake Rotoiti,
proceed along the shore to Tahunaroa, Whare-
tata, Manupirua, Pukeko, Tauarau, Te Ma-
maku, Tapaniao, Tapuaekura, Te Ruakokio,
Mataikotore, Ngapuka Te Ruato, Mapouriki,
Te Tumuapahau, at this point leave the lake
and turn inland, Paraheka, Omamaoa, the
ridge of Taotaoroa, Hereturu, Mawake Taupo,
Te Komotanga, Waione, Taunohonoa, Heru-
parawa, and on to the starting point.
