"That Mr. JOSEPH FRIAR CLARKE be appointed
Liquidator for winding up the affairs of the Company
and distributing the property."

A subsequent General Extraordinary Meeting of
the Shareholders of the Company is now convened
by the Directors, to be held on Wednesday, the 5th
day of April, 1882, at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon,
in the Large Room in the New Zealand Insurance
Company's Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, for
the purpose of confirming such special resolutions.

QUEEN OF BEAUTY EXTENDED GOLD-MINING
COMPANY (LIMITED).

I, the undersigned Manager, hereby give notice that,
at an extraordinary general meeting of the
Shareholders, held on the 28th February, 1882, the
following proposal for an increase in the Company's
capital was agreed to :-

"That the capital of the Company be increased by
the creation of ten thousand new shares of one pound
sterling, ten shillings per share to be deemed paid up.
Five thousand of such shares to be issued to the
Shareholders of the Company at the rate of one to
every four original shares on payment of five shillings
each share, leaving a further liability of five shillings
per share on the said five thousand shares. Any
shares not taken up by the Shareholders one month
after the date of issue, and the remaining unissued
shares, to be held by the Directors or their nominee,
in trust for the Company, to be issued, sold, or dis-
posed of at such time or manner, and on such terms
or conditions, as the Directors may deem advisable."

THE KAKANUI STEAM SHIPPING COMPANY
(LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary
general meeting of the Shareholders of the
above Company, duly convened on the 3rd March,
1882, at the office of the Company, Kakanui, the
following resolution was passed: "That the balance-
sheet be approved of, and that the affairs of the
Company have been fairly wound up."

REVOCATION OF REWARD.

THE reward of Two Hundred Pounds (£200)
offered by the New Zealand Fire Underwriters
Association for such information "as will lead to the
detection and conviction of any person concerned in
wilfully setting fire to premises in New Zealand"
is hereby revoked.
