distant from its intersection with the north-western
boundary of said section. Bounded as follows:
Easterly and North-easterly by lines, 145 and 620
links respectively; South-easterly by a line, 111
links; South-westerly and Southerly by lines, 620
and 145 links respectively; North-westerly by road
to Tophouse, 300 links.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 1 rood 5 perches, being portion of
Section No. 160, commencing at a point on the
north-eastern boundary of parcel of land described in
a Proclamation taking land, dated the 17th February,
1880, and published in the New Zealand Gazette
No. 18, of the 26th February, 1880, with the Wai-iti
River. Bounded as follows: South-westerly by a
line, 569 links; North-easterly by a line, 577 links;
South-westerly by the Wai-iti River to commencing
point, 100 links.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 1 acre and 38 perches, being portion of
Section No. 160, commencing at a point at the inter-
section of the north-westernmost side of Pretty
Bridge Creek with the south-westernmost side of a
road. Bounded as follows: North-easterly by said
road; South-easterly by part of Sections Nos. 160
and 169; South-westerly by a line, 150 links; North-
westerly by Section No. 160 to commencing point,
said parcel of land being the old bed of Pretty Bridge
Creek: the several parcels of land being situate in
the Survey District of Wai-iti, Provincial District of
Nelson, and are more particularly delineated upon
the plans marked P.W.D. 8749, deposited in the
ton, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

Honorable Arthur Hamilton Gordon,
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Dis-
tinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Her Majesty's High
Commissioner for the Western Pacific,
Governor and Commander-in-Chief in

Admiral of the same; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at Christ-
church, this twenty-eighth day of Feb-
ruary, in the year of our Lord one

New Board of Wardens appointed for Cardrona
Depasturing District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation made under "The
Gold Fields Act, 1866," bearing date the
twenty-ninth day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-seven, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette of the fifth day of April of that year,
certain regulations were made for the Cardrona De-
pasturing District, including, in regulation number
one of the said regulations, the appointment of cer-
tain persons as a Board of Wardens for the said
depasturing district:
And whereas it is expedient to amend the said
regulations:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the power and authority
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the regulation number one referred to
above shall be amended, and that the following
regulation shall be and is hereby made in lieu
thereof:-
AMENDED DEPASTURING REGULATION.
- John Kerin, John Tripp, Richard Walsh, John
O'Callaghan, and Robert Millar, all of Cardrona, or
such other persons as the Governor may from time
to time appoint,, shall be and are hereby appointed
the Board of Wardens for the above-named Cardrona
Depasturing District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the

Fixing Sittings of District Court of Wellington.
ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.,
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and au-
thority in that behalf enabling me, I, Arthur
Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Colony of
of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that
sittings of the District Court of Wellington shall be
held as follows, in lieu of those previously fixed and
appointed:-
At Wellington, in the Courthouse, for the despatch
of civil business only, on the second Friday of every
month, excepting in the month of December.
At Masterton, in the Resident Magistrate's Court-
house, for the despatch of civil business only, on the
fourth Friday in each of the months of January,
April, July, and October in each year.
Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as
aforesaid shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court
appointed for that day shall be holden on the first
day thereafter not being a holiday.
Provided, further, that this warrant shall not take
effect till the first day of March next.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twenty-fourth day of
February, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-two.
