THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Land Court Act, 1880’ rehear the title of any Native applicants and others, if any, to the Tapuwae Block, in the District of Hokianga, in the Provincial District of Auckland”:
Now, I hereby give notice that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Rawene, Hokianga, on the 3rd day of March, 1882, for the rehearing of the above-named block of land.

NOTEMEA kua mahia e te Paremata i roto i te tau kua pahure ake nei tetahi Ture ko tona ingoa ki te reo Pakeha ko “The Special Powers and Contracts Act, 1881.” (He Ture tenei hei whakamana i te Kawana kia whakaputaina e ia he Karauna Karaati ki etahi tangata, kia mahia hoki e ia etahi kupu whakaari kahore ano i rite noa.)
A notemea i penei nga kupu o te 11 o nga rarangi o tana Ture:—“He ahakoa etahi tikanga o nga Ture Whenua Maori e whakahaerea nei, e tika ana ma te Kooti Whenua Maori e whakawa tuarua te paanga o etahi tangata Maori, o etahi tangata ke ranei, e whai take ana ki tetahi whenua ko Tapuwae te ingoa, i te takiwa o Hokianga, i te Porowini Takiwa o Akarana, a he ki tuturu tenei ki taua Kooti kia whakawakia tuaruatia taua whenua i roto i nga marara e ono i muri iho o te mahinga ai o tenei Ture, i runga i nga tikanga o “Te Ture Kooti Whenua Maori, 1880.”
Na, he Panuitanga tenei kia mohiotia ai ka tu te Kooti Whenua Maori ki Rawene, Hokianga, a te 3 o nga ra o Maehe, 1882, ki te whakawa hou ano i taua pihi whenua.

HAVING considered the application of Raneira Kawhia and others in this behalf, dated the 1st day of December, 1881, and received by me on the 15th day of December 1881, for the rehearing of a claim to the block of land called Puketauhinu, in the District of Poverty Bay, which was decided by the Native Land Court at Opotiki, on the 8th day of December, 1881, I hereby, in pursuance of the authority given to me by “The Native Land Court Act, 1880,” dismiss the same.
