NOTICE is hereby given, that at a sitting of this Court to be held at Rawene, in the District of
Hokianga, on the 3rd day of March next, will be heard the applications of the persons whose names
appear in the first column for the subdivision of the hereditaments comprised in the Crown Grants of the
pieces of land the names of which appear in the second column situate in the districts named in the
third column.

HEREAS an Act was lately passed by the General Assembly of New Zealand called "The Special
Powers and Contracts Act, 1881":
And whereas the 11th section of the said Act is as follows: "That notwithstanding any provisions
contained in the Native Lands Act in force, it shall be lawful for the Native Land Court to rehear, and the
said Court shall within six months from the passing of this Act, and in the manner specified in 'The Native
