TERMS OF SALE.

Rents payable half-yearly, in advance. The first
half-year to be paid on the day of sale.
All mineral waters, hot springs, and streams are
and remain vested in the Crown.
Proposed reserves for schools, post office, tele-
graph office, railway, hospital, and other public
objects are shown on the official map of the town-
ship, subject to such modifications or alterations as
may be found advisable. Recreation-grounds are
reserved for the public, and will be under the
management of a local body.
A resident medical officer has been appointed by
the Government.
The government of the town will be by a local
body constituted under the Act.
Building sites, peculiarly suitable for residences,
will be let subject to restrictions as to use for trades
or shops.
All hotels and lodging-houses will be governed by
regulations suitable to the exceptional character and
requirements of the town.
Rents to be paid half-yearly, in Auckland, or in
the Town, as may be found convenient.
Possession of the lands will be given immediately
after the auction. The lots may be identified on the
ground by marked pegs.
The use of the waters, and all similar arrangements
will be under the control of the doctor and a local
body.
Copies of the plans and full printed particulars can
be seen at any Post or Telegraph Office, Railway
Station, and Athenæum, or they can be obtained
from any Commissioner of Crown Lands at any Land
Office in the colony.
