SCHEDULE.

MOEHAU No. 4.

All that parcel of land in the Coromandel and Harataunga Survey Districts, Provincial District of Auckland, known by the name of Moehau No. 4, containing by admeasurement 8,900 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North by the Torehina and Whareroa Blocks 16693 links, by the Wharetaua and Umangawha Streams and by the Huruhuru Block 13808 links; towards the East by the Harataunga Block 26973 links, by the Whakaroa Stream and by lines and land granted to Ring, Keven, and Dacre 11272 links; towards the South by the Waimai and Kutia Blocks 6139 links, by a stream, by Te Raehina Block 8533 links, by the sea, by Te Niho Block and land granted to W. Houston 14417 links, by a stream, by the sea, and by lines 5286 links; and towards the West by the sea: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Animals Protection Act, 1880," and "The Animals Protection Act Amendment Act, 1881," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the date hereof, hares shall cease to be within the operation of the said Acts within the Rakaia Road District.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two.

Arrangements for First Elections, &c., Mosgiel Town District.

Colonial Secretary's Office, Wellington, 16th February, 1882.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

WILLIAM McLEOD

to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first election of six Commissioners of the Mosgiel Town District, as constituted under "The Town Districts Act, 1881," and also to appoint Saturday, the 25th March, 1882, as the time, and the Drillshed, Mosgiel, as the place, at which such first elections shall be held. Also to appoint Monday, the 10th April, 1882, at noon, at the said Drillshed, Mosgiel, as the time and place for the first meeting of the Commissioners.
