And I further notify that I have satisfied myself that, after the proposed withdrawal has been made, the remainder of the securities left on deposit by the said Association is equal in value, as estimated by me, to the amount of the moneys insured or contracted to be paid by the Association in or by the policies on the register. And I further notify that I have, upon application made, consented to the withdrawal by the said Association of the aforesaid voluntary deposit of £1,300.

WAIMATE BUSH BRANCH RAILWAY COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.

At a general meeting of Shareholders, in compliance with clauses 10 and 11 of section 109 of “The Joint-Stock Companies Act, 1860,” held at the Company’s office, Queen Street, Waimate, on Tuesday, the 3rd day of January, 1882, at the hour of 11 a.m., it was resolved, “That account in liquidation, as produced by the Liquidator, be received; and that this meeting is of opinion that the Company has been fairly wound up.”

The Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Kakanui Steam-shipping Company (Limited), called for Friday, the 10th Februray, 1882, to meet the Company’s Liquidators and pass their accounts, has been adjourned till Friday, the 3rd March, 1882, at 1 p.m., to meet in the same place.
