Proclaiming a Locality under "The Native Licensing Act, 1878."

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred upon me by "The Native
Licensing Act, 1878," I, James Prendergast, Knight,
Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zealand, and
Administrator of the Government thereof, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the part of the colony
mentioned and described in the Schedule hereto shall
be a locality wherein the provisions of the Act
hereinabove mentioned shall come into operation on
the eighteenth day of this instant month of De-
cember.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 1,190
acres, more or less, and situate in the Heretaunga
Survey District. Bounded towards the North-west,
North, and North-east by the Tutaekuri River;
towards the South-east by a public road 3000 links
and 4800 links; towards the South by a public road
7850 links; towards the East by Section No. 50,
Papakura, 1004 links, 684 links, and 608 links;
again towards the South and towards the West by
the Tutaekuri-Waimate Stream; towards the South-
west crossing that stream and by the Korokipo Block,
414 links; again towards the South-east by the said
Koropiko Block, 1892 links; again towards the
South-west by a public-road 241 links and 1300 links,
and by the Rahuirua Block 448 links; and again
towards the South by the said Rahuirua Block and
by a public road, 2165 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.

Also all that parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasure-
ment 165 acres, more or less, and situate in the
Heretaunga Survey District. Bounded towards the
North-east by the Tutaekuri River; towards the
South-east by the Rahuirua Block, 2205 links;
towards the South-west by the said Rahuirua Block

1100 links, and by the Upokohina Stream; and
towards the North-west by the Rahuirua Block
aforesaid 190 links, and by the Omarunui No. 2
Block 4500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir
James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice,
the Administrator of the Government of
Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand
and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
seventh day of December, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-two.

Extending Jurisdiction of the Resident Magistrate's
Court, Hauraki.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and au-
thority in me vested in this behalf by "The
Resident Magistrates Act, 1867," I, James Prender-
gast, the Administrator of the Government of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that, from and after the first day of
January next, the jurisdiction of the Resident
Magistrate's Court for the Hauraki District, as the
same is defined in a Proclamation bearing date the
first day of November, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-one, shall be extended to one hundred
pounds.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir
James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice,
the Administrator of the Government of
Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand
and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
