and again to the first relief. I inspected every relief, both
going out and coming in, and found them fit for duty. I

The names of all prisoners who have been in the guard-room during
any portions of the time the guard has mounted to be inserted.
- After the statement of the offence, the rank and name of the officer or
other person by whom the prisoner is charged is to be inserted.
‡ The punishment awarded, or decision come to, to be written in words
in the handwriting of the officer disposing of the case.
§ Among other remarks, the fact of any prisoner having been admitted
to hospital from the guard-room should be stated opposite his name, as
likewise the fact of any prisoner from hospital having been discharged to
the guard-room.
