IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such leases.

Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Reefton on or before
the 3rd day of December, 1881.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Reefton.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Martin Conradson. Style under which
it is intended to conduct the business: "The Proctor
Quartz-Mining Company (Limited)." 16 acres
2 roods, north of Antonio's Creek, about one mile
above the town, Lyell, in the Nelson South-West
Mining District.

Applicant: Niels Larsen. Style under which it is
intended to conduct the business: "The Antonio
Creek Quartz-Mining Company (Limited)." 16 acres
2 roods, south of Antonio's Creek, about one mile
above the town, Lyell, in the Nelson South-West
Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Nelson, this fourth

New Creek, Lyell, in the Nelson South-West Mining
District.
