"Westland and Nelson Coal Fields Administrations
Amendment Act, 1881.”—Empowering Minister to
run Trains, &c., over certain Private Lines.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers given by "The West-
land and Nelson Coal Fields Administrations
Amendment Act, 1881," I, Arthur Hamilton Gor-
don, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, do hereby empower the Minister for Public
Works for the time being to run trains and
rolling-stock, at such times and in such manner as
the Minister may think fit, for conveying goods and
passengers on the railways named below, being rail-
ways constructed or deemed to be constructed under
the authority of "The Westland and Nelson Coal
Fields Administrations Act, 1879," and to do all
things necessary in connection with running such
trains and rolling-stock.

SCHEDULE.

THE Koranui Coal-Mining Company's line, Wai-
mangaroa Valley, from its junction with the West-
port-Ngakawau line to its junction with Westport
Colliery Company's line.

The Wesport Colliery Company's line from its
junction with the Koranui Coal-Mining Com-
pany's line to the foot of the Westport Colliery
Company's incline, comprehending the sidings at the
foot of the said incline.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this fifth day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
one.
