A PPLICATIONS for approval of appointments of Guardians should be made in open Court. Notice of
intention to apply should appear in the Kahiti and Gazette.

H AVING considered the application of Hone Hiki in this behalf, dated the 30th day of July, 1881,
and received by me on the 17th day of August, 1881, for the rehearing of a claim to the blocks of land
called Tangoiro and Nuheti No. 1, in the District of Poverty Bay, which was decided by the Native Land
Court at Uawa, on the 30th and 31st days of May 1881, respectively, I hereby, in pursuance of the
authority given to me by "The Native Land Court Act, 1880," dismiss the same.
