preserving, Pressing, and Packing in Tin Cans,
to be called "Gear's Patent Meat-preserving and
Pressing Process."

JAMES GEAR, of Wellington, Butcher, has de-
posited at this office a specification of the said inven-
tion, and I have appointed Friday, the 2nd day of
December next, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, at
this office, to hear the said application and all objec-
tions thereto; and I require all persons having an in-
terest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent
to leave, on or before the 28th day of November
