Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
said Act, do hereby declare that the land mentioned
in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be
exchanged for the land mentioned in the second
column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Description and Purpose of Reserves Intended to be Exchanged. Description of Land to be Obtained in Exchange therefor.
Section No. 1745 (in red), 106 acres in the Upper Christchurch Dis- trict, Provincial District of Canterbury, for Pro- vincial Government pur- poses, of which it is pro- posed to exchange two parcels or portions con- taining together 88 acres and 33 perches, more or less, viz.:- All those three several parcels of land in the Hawkin's Survey District, Provincial District of Canterbury, containing together 182 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or less. Bounded respectively as follows :-
60 acres 22 perches, more or less. Bounded- North-eastward by the Coal Tramway Reserve; South-westward by Sec- tion No. 25011, 4782·2 links; North-westward by the Racecourse Hill and Bleak House Road; and South-eastward by a line at right angles to the south-western boundary: excepting thereout Re- serve No. 1539 (in red). 123 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or less, being portions of Sections Nos. 26110 and 26674. Bounded- Eastward by the road forming the eastern boundary of those sections; Westward by a line parallel to and 1041 links distant therefrom, and by Reserve No. 1538 (in red); Southward by the southern boundary of Section No. 26674; and Northward by the northern boundary of Section No. 26610, and by Reserve No. 1538 (in red).
And 28 acres and 11 perches, more or less. Bounded- Northeast- ward by the Coal Tram- way Reserve; South-west- ward by Section No. 26234, 2304·8 links; Eastward by Section No. 21944; and North-west- ward by a line at right angles to the south- western boundary. 33 acres and 15 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 26234. Bounded - North - eastward and South-westward by the north-eastern and southern boundaries of that sec- tion; South-eastward by a line at right-angles to the north-eastern boundary drawn from a point thereon distant 2304·8 links from the western boundary-line of Section No. 21944; and North-westward by a line parallel to the south-eastern boundary, and 1050 links distant therefrom.
Also Section No. 1751 (ir red), 315 acres, in the district aforesaid, for Pro- vincial Government pur- poses, of which it is pro- posed to exchange 94 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less. Bounded- South-westward by the Rolleston and Sheffield Railway Reserve; North- eastward by Section No. 26674; North-westward by Section No. 18815: and South-eastward by the Homebush Road. 26 acres and 25 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 30632. Bounded-South-westward by the south-western boundary-line of that section; South-eastward by Reserve No. 1746 (in red); North-westward by Reserve No. 1748 (in red); and North-eastward by a line connecting the northern boundary of Reserve No. 1746 (in red) with the northern boundary of Reserve No. 1748 (in red).

to be a Public Vaccinator for the District of Akaroa;
and

WILLIAM BROWN, Esq., L.R.C.P. and S. Edin.,
to be a Public Vaccinator for the District of Wai-
kouaiti, to perform gratuitous vaccination in accord-
ance with the provisions of the said Act and any
regulations made or to be made thereunder.
