NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF A MINERAL LEASE
APPLICATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the application of
HUGH MCAULEY and JAMES MANN for a
Mineral Lease of 100 acres, for the purpose of
working for lignite or coal six miles north of Hyde,
in the Provincial District of Otago, made on the
22nd April, 1880, has this day been withdrawn, and
the ground intended to be comprised in such lease is
open to applicants for lease or license, or other
interest which may be lawfully granted in the said
ground, as if no lease of the said ground had ever
been applied for.

THE WAKATIPU STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY
(LIMITED).

A MEETING of Shareholders in above Company
will be held in the Town Hall, Queenstown, on
Friday, the 23rd day of September, 1881, at 2.30
p.m., to pass a resolution confirming the following
resolution passed at a meeting of Shareholders of the
said Company, held this day at the Town Hall, viz.:
"That the Wakatipu Steam Navigation Company
(Limited) be wound up voluntarily, in compliance
with 'The Joint-Stock Companies Act, 1860.'"
