All that parcel of land in the District of Poverty Bay, in the Provincial District of Auckland, known by the name of Tuakau-Pirauau No. 1, containing by admeasurement 5,865 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North by the Tamata-o-te Huinga Block; towards the East by the Onetohunga Stream; towards the South by surveyed lines, 27702 links; towards the West by the surveyed line of Government road to Waiapu, to the point of commencement.
TUAKAU BLOCK.
All that parcel of land at Tokomaru, in the District of Poverty Bay, in the Provincial District of Auckland, known by the name of Tuakau, containing by admeasurement 8,815 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North by the Mangatarata Stream, the Mangaroau Stream, the Uriwiri Stream, and the Tuakau-Pirauau No. 1 Block, 71079 links; towards the East by the Tokomaru Block, 19031 links; towards the South by the Tauwhareparae Block, the Waiau River, the Mangaehu Stream, the said Tauwhareparae Block, the Ngawakapatiki Stream, and by the last-mentioned block, 64585 links; and towards the West by the said Tauwhareparae Block and the Mata River, 12820 links.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been purchased out of the sums authorized under “The Immigration and Public Works Act, 1870,” and Acts amending the same, to be issued and expended in the purchase of lands in the North Island of New Zealand, and it is expedient that the said lands should be declared to be waste lands of the Crown:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, being satisfied that the lands described in the Schedule hereto are free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the seventeenth section of “The Waste Lands Administration Act, 1876,” and the twenty-eighth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879,” and all other authorities enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the said lands to be waste lands of the Crown, subject, except as in the first-mentioned Act provided, to be sold and dealt with according to the provisions of the laws regulating the sale and disposal of waste lands of the Crown in force in the Land Districts of Auckland and Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
TAHARUA SOUTH.
ALL that parcel of land in the District of Taupo, and partly in the Provincial District of Auckland, and partly in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Taharua South, containing by admeasurement 14,000 acres, more or less, namely, 4,200 acres in the Provincial District of Auckland, and 9,800 acres in the Provincial District of Wellington.
