Description of Land.—All undulating agricultural land covered with patches of stunted tea-tree, well watered, easily accessible by road, one and a half miles from New Lynne Railway Station. Sections 288 to 294 front the Manukau Harbour, and have each 2 acres or more of bush.

Description of Land.—193, nearly all swamp; 196, about 10 acres bush, the rest fern. This lot contains 10 acres of good level land. 197, mostly bush, good soil, somewhat broken; 198 and 199, the whole area mixed bush of a broken nature, land of fair quality. These lots contain some valuable totara trees. Lot 199 has a never-failing stream of water on its southern boundary.

The above sections are within the swamp known as the Awaroa Swamp, fronting the Waikato River.
