Tailor, have applied to be registered as Proprietors of
7 perches of land, part of Section No. 26, situated in
the Town of Lyttelton, being the land comprised in
certificate of title, Vol. xxxvii., folio 213; and that
they will be so registered, unless caveat forbidding
the same be lodged within one month after the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

Mining Notices.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT WATER-
RACE.

District of Otago (North),
4th January, 1881.

To the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin.

WE hereby give notice that we intend to construct
a Water-race and divert water for irrigation,
driving machinery, wool-scouring, and domestic
purposes, commencing at a point on Parson's Creek,
about half a mile south-west of the crossing of said
creek by the main Waitaki Road, and terminating
at the Mount Ida Pastoral Investment Company's
(Limited) Wool-shed, Rugged Ridges Station, Waitaki
District.

The length of such race is one and a half miles or
thereabouts, and its intended course is in a south-
east direction, passing through (at present) Crown
lands, a portion of which has been applied and paid
for by the Company, but not yet surveyed.

The mean depth and breadth of such race is 3 feet
by 3 feet, and it is capable of carrying eight heads of
water.

Term for which required, fifteen years.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

Tuapeka, 20th December, 1880.

To the Warden at Lawrence.

I hereby give notice that I intend to construct a
Water-race to divert and use water for mining
purposes, commencing at a point on the south side of
the Waipori River, half a mile or thereabouts above
the bridge, terminating at the slaughterhouse of
Kwong Sing Yoon, of Waipori, aforesaid.

The length of such race is one mile or there-
abouts, and its intended course is from the south-west
to the north-east. The mean depth of such race is
4 feet, and the mean breadth is 3 feet, and it is pro-
posed to divert five Government-heads of water.
