NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

To the Mining Registrar at Switzer's of the Switzer's
Mining District, and all other persons whom it
may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race, and divert water from the Steeple
Creek, half a mile above the shelter shed, and termi-
nating at Halley's Dam, Scrubby Terrace.
The length of such race is sixteen miles or
thereabouts, and it is intended to divert ten heads
of water; the breadth of such race is 2 feet 6 inches,
and the depth is 18 inches.
Number and date of miners' rights: Andrew
Halley, 22857, 21st June, 1881; James Collins, 22814,
23rd April, 1881.
"Dated at Waikaia, this 15th day of July, 1881.

Any person objecting to the issue of a license to
the above-named applicants must lodge his objection
in writing at the Warden's Office, Waikaia, within
fourteen days from the date hereof.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
hithertofore existing between SIDNEY GRIFFITHS
BRANDON and GEORGE BEE, carrying on business at
Waikari, in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay,
as Sheepfarmers, under the style or firm of "George
Bee and Co.," has been mutually dissolved as from
the 11th day of May last.
The business will be carried on as from the said
11th day of May last by the said George Bee alone,
by whom all debts owing by the said late partnership
will be paid, and to whom all debts owing to the said
partnership must be paid, and whose receipt alone
shall be a sufficient discharge for the same.
