TO THE CHIEF JUDGE OF THE NATIVE LAND COURT.
We, Joseph Howard and Edwin Barnes Walker, having acquired interests in the Whaiti Kuranui
No. 5A Block, situate in the District of Patetere, which has passed through the Native Land Court, and a
memorial of ownership having issued for the said block, pray that you will be pleased to grant a subdivision
by the Native Land Court, in order that our interests may be defined and a Crown grant issue to us.
Dated at Cambridge, in the District of Waikato, this 29th day of June, 1881.

koe ki te whakaae kia roherohea taua whenua e te Kooti Whenua Maori, he mea kia ata wehea mai ki a
maua o maua wahi o taua whenua, kia puta hoki he Karauna Karaati ki a maua.
He mea tuhituhi ki Kemureti, i te Takiwa o Waikato, i tenei 29 o nga ra o Hune, 1881.

of title having issued for the said block, pray that you will be pleased to grant a subdivision by the Native
Land Court, in order that our interests may be defined, and a Crown grant issue to us.
