MEAT.

A bonus of five hundred pounds (£500) will be
given on the first 100 tons of fresh meat exported
from New Zealand in vessels fitted with refrigerating
machinery. Such meat must have been collected in
a refrigerating chamber in this colony, and must
have been landed in Europe in sound marketable
condition.

CONDITIONS.

NOTICE of intention to claim any of the above
bonuses must be given in writing to the Colonial
Secretary not later than the 31st December, 1881.

The claim must be made before the 30th June,
1882.

The other conditions as to quantity, quality, and
value to be fulfilled to the satisfaction of an officer
appointed for the purpose by the Government.

Alterations and Additions to the Rates for the Con-
veyance, Delivery, and Storage of Goods, Parcels,
&c., on the New Zealand Railways.

IN accordance with the By-laws for the New Zea-
land Railways, fixed by Order in Council dated
the 6th January, 1881, the following alterations
and additions to the rates for the conveyance,
delivery, and storage of goods, parcels, &c., on all the
New Zealand Railways, are hereby declared to be
fixed and to come into force from the 25th October,
1881:–

PART III.—GOODS.

CLASS E.—AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE.

Grain bags containing more than 4 bushels, or
250 lb., will be charged rate and a quarter.

IN accordance with the By-laws for the New Zea-
land Railways, fixed by Order in Council dated

additions to the rates for the conveyance, delivery,
and storage of goods, parcels, &c., on all the New
Zealand Railways, are hereby declared to be fixed
and to come into force from the date of opening the
railway through from Auckland to Helensville.

per ton, weight or measurement, as below, wharfage

delivery of goods from trucks at Helensville Wharf.
