westerly and Westerly, 50, 253, 320, and 452 links
respectively; South-westerly, 342 links; North-
westerly, 392 links; North-easterly, 112 links;
Easterly and South-easterly, by the western boun-
dary of aforesaid road, 110, 769, 543, and 317
links respectively; South-westerly to commencing

All that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 3 roods 29 perches, being portion of
Section No. 8, Native reserve, commencing at a point
on the south-western boundary of said section 3630
links from its south-westernmost corner. Bounded
by lines as follows: Westerly and North-westerly, 30,
600, 925, and 1376 links respectively; Northerly, 30
links; Easterly by the western boundary of afore-
said road, 1094, 527, 575, and 795 links respectively;
South-westerly to commencing point, 112 links.
The above areas and linkages being either more or
less, and the several parcels of land being situate
within the Provincial District of Wellington, Colony
of New Zealand, and are more particularly delineated
upon the plan marked P.W.D. 8403, deposited in
the office of the Minister for Public Works, at
Wellington, Provincial District of Wellington.

tinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Her Majesty's High
Commissioner for the Western Pacific,

Defining Warlike Stores under "The Arms Act,
1880."

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the sixtieth section of "The Arms
Act, 1880," it is enacted that the Governor
may from time to time declare what articles shall be
considered as warlike stores for the purposes of that
Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise
and pursuance of such power, do hereby declare that,
from and after the publication hereof, the under-
mentioned articles shall be considered as warlike
stores for the purposes of the Act above mentioned,
that is to say,β
Firearms of all kinds.
Accoutrements for ditto.
Gunpowder of every description, in cartridge or
otherwise.
Percussion-caps.
Flints.
Lead, manufactured or otherwise.
Shot, ball, bullets, and all other articles that may
be used as missiles for firearms.
Saltpetre.
Pikes and bayonets.
Swords.
Detonating caps.
Detonating powder, and all other articles capable
of discharging firearms.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
