NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT ROAD-LINE
THROUGH RUKUWAI BLOCKS Nos. 1 AND 11,
ROAD DISTRICT OF PARUA, IN THE COUNTY OF
WHANGAREI.

OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the
Parua Road Board, under the provisions of
"The Public Works Act, 1876," to execute a certain
public work, to wit, the construction of a road-line
in certain sections of Rukuwai Blocks Nos. 1 and 11;
and for the purpose of such public work the lands
described in the Schedule hereto are required to be
taken: And notice is further given that a plan of the
said road, and of the land so required to be taken, is
deposited for inspection at the residence of Mr.
Henry Morey, sen., of Parua, Farmer.
And notice is hereby given that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the
taking of the said land are hereby called upon to set
forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the
execution of the said work or to the taking of the
said land, and to send such within forty days from
the first publication of this notice to the Parua Road
Board aforesaid, whose office is at the Parua Public
Hall, Parua, Provincial District of Auckland.
SCHEDULE.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION. The road commences at a
point about 350 links south-west of north-east corner
of Section 4, Rukuwai Block No. 1; thence ex-
tending south-easterly 31 chains 75 links through
said Section No. 4, Rukuwai Block No. 1; thence
extending generally southerly about 19 chains through
Section 5, Rukuwai Block No. 1; thence extending
southerly about 32 chains along eastern boundary of
Rukuwai No. 11; also extending southerly 25 chains
18 links along western boundary of Section 8, Ru-
kuwai Block No. 1; thence extending southerly 33
chains 68 links through Section 7, Rukuwai Block
No. 1; thence extending southerly 6 chains 18 links
along eastern boundary of Ahitopu; terminating at
the Whangarei Road: the same being delineated on
plan deposited as aforesaid.

LL that road commencing at the north-west
corner of Rural Section 182, and thence follow-
ing the creek to the south-eastern boundary of the
said section a distance of about 60 chains, and
shown in green on the plan on view at the Avon
Road Board Office till the 18th February, 1881.

DESCRIPTION OF ROAD PROPOSED TO BE CLOSED
IN THE AVON DISTRICT.

LL that road running between Rural Sections
2194 and 298, a distance of 1250 links, and
receiving in lieu thereof a road through Rural Section
298, running parallel with the railway reserve for a
distance of 1252 links, by a chain in width.
The road proposed to be closed is delineated on
plan, and tinted blue. Road given in exchange is
tinted green.
Plan may be seen at the Avon Road Board Office
till 18th February, 1881.

OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
hitherto existing between us in the business of
Ironmongers at Wellington, in the Colony of New
Zealand, under the style of "John Young," has
been this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts
due to the late partnership are to be paid to the said
JOHN YOUNG the Younger, who will continue the
business on his own account, and will pay and
discharge all the debts and liabilities of the late
partnership.
