register the Morning Star Gold-Mining Com-
pany as a Limited Company under the provisions
of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

1. The name of the Company is to be the Morning Star
   Gold-Mining Company (Limited).

2. The place of operations is at Te Aroha, in the Provincial
   District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
   the New Zealand Insurance Company's Buildings, Auckland,
   in the Provincial District of Auckland and Colony of New
   Zealand.

4. The nominal capital of the Company is twelve thousand
   pounds sterling, in twelve thousand shares of one pound sterling
   each.

5. The number of shares subscribed for is eleven thousand,
   being more than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in
   the Company.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR
ROAD PURPOSES.

THE Wairoa Highway Board proposes to take
certain lands, hereinafter described, for road
purposes; and all persons affected are requested to
set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to
the taking of such lands or the execution of the pro-
posed work, and to send such writing within forty
days from the date of publication hereof to the Wai-
roa Highway Board. Plans are open for inspection
at the residence of Mr. G. S. Bridge, Waverley.

1. About 4 acres of land, more or less, being part
   of Sections 349 and 164, Block I., for the purpose of
   a side-cutting.
2. About 6 acres of land, more or less, being part
   of Sections 433 and 434, Block II., for the purpose
   of a side-cutting.
3. About 2 acres of land, more or less, being part
   of Sections 395 and 394, Block VIII.
   -as the same is more particularly delineated on the
   plans, and tinted green.
