Warden's Court to be held at Nelson.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and first section
of "The Mines Act, 1877," it is, amongst
other things, enacted that any Warden's Court may
be held in any convenient place to be fixed by the
Governor, whether within or without the boundaries
of the district for which such Warden's Court is
constituted:

And whereas it is expedient that a Warden's Court
for the Gold-Mining District of Golden Bay Gold
Fields shall be held at Nelson:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby declare
that a Warden's Court for the Gold-Mining District
of Golden Bay Gold Fields shall be held at Nelson.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eleventh day of June, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-one.

Fixing Sitting at Palmerston North of District
Court of Wanganui.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

WHEREAS by "The District Courts Act, 1858,"
it is made lawful for the Governor, from time
to time, by notification in the New Zealand Gazette,
to fix the times and places within the district at
which every District Court shall be held :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby,
in pursuance and exercise of the said power and
authority, fix that the next sitting at Palmerston
North of the District Court of Wanganui shall be
held in the Town Hall at that place.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this fifteenth day of June, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-one.

Authorizing the taking and laying down of Roads in
the Hawke's Bay Provincial District.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

IN exercise and pursuance of all powers and au-
thorities enabling me in this behalf by an Act of
the General Assembly intituled "The Crown Grants
Act, 1866," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Gover-
nor of the Colony of New Zealand, do authorize
HORACE BAKER, Esq.,

Chief Surveyor of Hawke's Bay, to take and lay
down roads over the lands specified in the Schedule
hereto, and for that purpose to exercise all such
powers as by the said Act may be exercised by a
person legally authorized in that behalf under the
said Act.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eleventh day of June,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
one.
