Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the authority in me
for this purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of
Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke
and annul the appointment of the under-mentioned
building as a warehouse, for the reception and security
of goods entered to be warehoused without payment
of duty upon the first entry thereof, viz. :-
Port of Wellington.
A brick building with iron roof, situate on part of
Town-acre No. 488, and known as
JACOB JOSEPH AND CO.'S BOND.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand

Approving and appointing Bonding Warehouses.
CUSTOMS.-In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs,
do hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned
warehouses, viz. :-
Port of Greymouth.
Part of a detached one-storeyed building, covered
with iron and lined throughout, situate on part of
Sections 265 and 266, at corner of Herbert and
Hospital Streets, Greymouth, to be known as
MCLEAN'S BOND.
Part of a two-storeyed wooden building, covered
with iron and lined throughout, at the rear of Messrs.
Griffen and Smith's Stores, situate on Allotment No.
108, Boundary Street, Greymouth, to be known as
GRIFFEN'S BOND.
--to be warehouses for the reception of goods under
bond.

HOKITIKA, WEST COAST OF MIDDLE ISLAND.

THE Hokitika Harbour Board give notice that
when a red light is exhibited from the flagstaff
on the North Spit, even though the beacon lights are
up, the bar is dangerous, and not to be crossed.

PORT PHILLIP.-REMOVAL OF BUOY IN THE WEST
CHANNEL.
MARINERS, pilots, and others navigating in the West
Channel are hereby informed that the No. 9 buoy
has been removed, and will not be replaced, as the
works for the new pile light, now in course of erec-
tion, mark the shoal water in that locality. Vessels
passing the new pile structure should keep half a
cable's length to the eastward of it.

PERMANENT FIXED RED LIGHT, BARRENJUEY,
BROKEN BAY.
On and after the night of Monday, the 1st August,
1881, the two temporary lights on Barrenjuey, the
inner southern headland of Broken Bay, will be dis-
continued, and a permanent fixed red light exhibited
from sunset to sunrise in lieu thereof.
The permanent light is of the second order diop-
tric, elevated 371 feet above high-water mark. It
will be visible at a distance of about fifteen miles
from seaward in ordinary weather, and be open
between the bearings of N.N.W. and S.W. S.
(magnetic).
