DISTRICT.
PUBLIC NOTICE BY THE PORTOBELLO ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named
Board, in accordance with "The Public Works
Act, 1876," propose to take the several portions of
land herein set forth below, for the purpose of making
new roads in the several subdivisions stated of the
above-named district.
No. 5. Sandymount Subdivision: A road, 50 links
wide, through Section 35, Block III., Otago Peninsula
District.
No. 6. Broad Bay Subdivision: A road, 60 links
wide, through Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27z, 27, 28, 78,
and 2 of 19, Block II., Otago Peninsula District.
Plans of the above-described proposed new roads
to be seen at the store of Mr. Latham, Portobello, for
forty days from this date.
All persons affected are requested to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objection to the taking of
such lands, and to send such writing within forty
days from this date to the Portobello Road Board.
