Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouses.

CUSTOMS. - In exercise of the authority in me for
this purpose vested, I, the Minister for the time
being acting for the Commissioner of Customs, do, by
this order under my hand, revoke and annul the
appointment of the under-mentioned buildings as
warehouses for the reception and security of goods
entered to be warehoused without payment of duty
upon the first entry thereof, viz. :-

Port of Poverty Bay.
A portion of a cellar situate on Section 373, Read's
Block, Gladstone Road, Gisborne, known as
COMMON'S BOND.

Port of Napier.
A building situate on Sections Nos. 519 and 520,
Waghorn Street, Spit, known as
STUART AND Co.'S BOND.

Port of Greymouth.
A wood and iron building situate in Hospital
Street, in the occupation of Mr. Martin Kennedy,
known as
KENNEDY'S BOND.
Part of a wooden and iron store situate in Werita
Street, in the Port of Greymouth, having an entrance
from a right-of-way from Werita Street, known as
GRIFFEN'S BOND.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of February, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-one.

Approving and appointing Bonding Warehouses.

CUSTOMS. - In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act, 1858," I, the Minister for the time being
acting for the Commissioner of Customs, do hereby
approve and appoint the under-mentioned ware-
houses, viz.:-

Port of Wanganui.
A wooden building, covered with galvanized iron,
situate on part of Allotment No. 65, Wickstead Place,
Borough of Wanganui, to be known as
JONES'S BOND.

Port of Dunedin.
A stone building situate on Section No. 25, Block
VI., in Stafford Street, Dunedin, to be known as
THE DRUG COMPANY'S BOND.
The second floor of a brick building situate in
Bond Street, Dunedin, on part of Manse Reserve
No. 10, on Allotment 13 and part of 14, to be known
as
PROCTOR'S BOND.
-to be warehouses for the reception of goods under
bond.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of February, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-one.

New Postal District to be established.

Post Office and Telegraph Department,
Wellington, 12th February, 1881.

T is hereby notified for general information that,
from and after the 1st April next, the Post

Office at Gisborne will be constituted a "Chief
Post Office" within the meaning of clause 1 of the
Postal Regulations of the 29th December, 1874.
Following this decision, the under-mentioned new
postal district will therefore be established:-

GISBORNE.
The boundaries of the Gisborne Postal District
shall be the same as those of the County of Cook, as
defined in the first Schedule to "The Counties Act,
1876." The following Sub-Post Offices, which are
within the proposed new postal district, will hence-
forth be under the immediate control of the Chief
Postmaster, Gisborne :-

As the accounts of depositors in the Post Office
Savings Bank, which may have been or may be
opened prior to the 31st March next, cannot, after
that date, be operated upon at Gisborne until the
accounts are transferred, depositors resident within
the Postal District of Gisborne are requested, on or
before the 31st March, to forward their deposit-books
to the Chief Postmaster, Napier, with a notice that
they require their accounts transferred.

IT is hereby notified for general information that
the Money Order and Savings Bank Office at
GOODWOOD (Chief Office, Dunedin)
will be closed from and after the 28th February, 1881.

IT is hereby notified for general information that
the designation of the Post Office known
as Thames will, from and after the 1st proximo, be
changed to
GRAHAMSTOWN.
