THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
- The name of the Company is to be the Try-Again Gold-
Mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations is at Terawhiti, in the Provincial
District of Wellington. - The registered office of the Company will be situated in
Willis Street, in the City of Wellington. - The nominal capital of the Company is twelve thousand
pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each. - The number of shares subscribed for is sixteen thousand
and eighty, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number
of shares in the Company. - The number of paid-up shares is fifteen thousand and
eighty-two. - The amount already paid up is seven thousand five hundred
and forty-one pounds sterling. - The name of the Manager is Henry Elliott.

THE MANAWATU BOILING-DOWN AND CURING
COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Shareholders of the
above Company will be held at the offices of Messrs.
Palmerson and Scott, the Square, Palmerston North,
on Friday, the twenty-sixth day of January, 1881, at
the hour of 4 o'clock in the afternoon, for the pur-
pose of considering an account to be laid before them
by the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the
winding-up of the affairs of the Company has been
conducted and the property of the Company disposed
of, and, if approved of, to pass the following resolu-
tion: "That the affairs of the Company have been
fairly wound up."

ROAD DISTRICT.
IT is hereby notified that the Makarewa Road
Board has been abolished, and that the Maka-
rewa Road District has been merged in Southland
County, by special order, as from the 9th Decem-
ber, 1881, in accordance with the provisions of "The
Counties Act, 1876."

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
hitherto existing between the undersigned
ARTHUR REMINGTON, of Marton, and ARTHUR
EDWARD REMINGTON, of Bull's, carrying on business
as Chemists and Druggists, under the style or firm of
"A. and A. E. Remington," has been dissolved by
mutual consent from the 1st day of December, 1881.
The business will in future be carried on by Arthur
Remington in Marton, and Arthur Edward Reming-
ton in Bull's, who will pay all debts due by the late
firm.

the said resolution was confirmed.
