Now, therefore, I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursu-
ance and in exercise of the powers and authorities
contained in the above recited Act, and of all other
powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in
that behalf, and by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby
make and pass the following regulation, that is to
say,-

or title of , do hereby declare that the goods above
specified have been duly shipped and exported from the colony,
and have not been re-landed and are not intended to be re-
landed in any part of the colony, and that the said firm ex-
ported the said goods, and is alone entitled to the drawback
thereon, and which I, on behalf of the said firm, hereby claim.

Any Local Board of Health may, within its limits
and jurisdiction, make regulations for all or any of
the purposes specified in the first five subsections of
the above recited section, subject nevertheless to the
following conditions :-
(a.) No one but a duly-qualified medical practi-
tioner shall be appointed as an Inspector of Milk or
Dairies.
(b.) None of such regulations shall enable the sale
of milk to be prohibited unless the Inspector of Milk
or Dairies, or some other duly-qualified medical practi-
tioner, shall certify that the use of the milk, the sale
of which is proposed to be prohibited, is likely to
endanger the public health.
(c.) That any such regulations so made may at
any time be repealed by the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by the third section of "The Public
Health Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1881," it
is enacted that the Governor in Council may from
time to time make such regulations as he thinks
fit for the following purposes or any of them; and

constituted.

ARTHUR GORDON, Governor.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by an Act of the Pro-
vince of Auckland, intituled "The Highways Act,
1874," and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act,
1875," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, hereby notify that I do
hereby create that portion of the Provincial District
of Auckland described in the Schedule hereto a new
highway district under the said "Highways Act,
1874," by the distinctive name of the Te Puke
Highway District, and I declare that the boundaries
of the said district shall be those described in the
Schedule hereto.
