The orders will be issued for English money for
payment at any office in the list (to be seen at an y
Money Order Office in the colony) of International
Money Order Offices in the United States, and will
be paid at the rate of 4 dollars 87 cents to the pound
sterling.
The applicant for each order must furnish on the
form of requisition, besides the usual particulars,
the placer, of residence of the remitter and payee, as
well as the County and State in which the pavee's
residence is situated.
With the view of preventing the presentation of
money orders in the United States before the cor-
responding advices reach the paying offices, no orders
will be issued at any offices after the time fixed by
the Postmasters for their issue.

HENRY AUGUSTUS LEVESTAM, o f Nelson, Engi-
neer, has deposited at this office a specification of
the said invention, and I have appointed Friday,
the 24th day of March next, at 10 o'clock in the,
forenoon, at this office, to hear the said application,
and all objections thereto; and I require all persons,
hating an interest, in opposing the grant of such
Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 20th day
of March next, at this office, particulars in writing
of their objections to the said application, otherwise
they will be precluded from urging the same.

Gold Fields Notices.
Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.
I is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a
lease for gold-mining purposes, under "The
Gold Fields Act, 1866," to the applicant specified in
the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the
grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and
Lodged with the Warden at Reefton on or before the
Dth day of January, 1883.
Copy of the application made and plan annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Reefton.

ig intended to conduct the business: "Murray Creek
Gold-Mining Company." 15 acres 3 roods 4 perches,

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it
is intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such leases.
Objections to the granting of such leases, stating

lodged nith the Warden at Reefton on or before
the 12th day of January, 1882.
