PURSUANT to an Act of Parliament made and
passed in the 22nd and 23rd years of the reign
of Her present Majesty, chapter 35, intituled "An
Act to further amend the Law of Property and to
relieve Trustees," notice is hereby given that all
creditors and other persons having any claim or de-
mand upon or against the estate of DAVID PERSTON,
late of Brompton, in the County of Middlesex, Doc-
tor of Medicine, deceased, who died on the 14th day
of July, 1866, intestate so far as regards his residuary
estate (and whose will was proved in the Principal
Registry of Her Majesty's Court of Probate on the
18th day of August, 1866, by ANDREW LAWRIE, then
of No. 10, Charles Street, St. James's, but now of
No. 70, Jermyn Street, both in the County of Mid-

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under
the provisions of "The Public Works Act,
1876," to execute a certain public work, to wit, the
construction of a road passing through Lot 4,
Muhunga Block, Block, XIII., Waimata Survey Dis-
trict, Cook County, Provincial District of Auckland;
and for the purposes of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken. And notice is further given that the plans of
the said road and of the land required to be taken
are deposited at the office of the Cook County
Council, Gisborne, and are there open for inspection.
All persons affected by the execution of the said
public work or by the taking of the said land shall,
if they have any well-grounded objections, set forth
the same in writing, and send such writing to the
Cook County Council within forty days from the
first publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 1 acre, more or less, being por-
tion of Lot 4, Muhunga Block, Block XIII., Wai-
mata Survey District, Provincial District of Auck-
land, bounded as follows: North-easterly by other
portion of said Lot 4, 800 links and 684 links;
Westerly by the Waipaoa River; South-easterly by
public road, 143 links; Easterly by public road, 50
links, to starting point.

NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS IN THE SANDON
STEAM FLOUR-MILL COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that a Meeting of Share-
holders in the above-named Company will be
held in the Schoolhouse, Sanson, on Friday, the 25th
day of November, 1881, at half-past 7 o'clock p.m.,
when thatllowing resolution will be proposed,
viz., "That the Sandon Steam Flour-mill be sold,
and the Company wound up voluntarily, and that the
Directors be requested to give immediate effect to
this resolution." Liquidators will be appointed at
said meeting.
