And whereas it is deemed expedient that the Port
of Loma Loma, in the Island of Vanua Balavu, shall,
until further notice, cease to be a port of entry under
the ordinance aforesaid :
Now, therefore, I do hereby order and proclaim
that the said Port of Loma Loma shall, from and
after the first day of January, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-two, cease to be a port of entry.
Whereof let all men take notice and govern them-
selves accordingly.
Given under my hand and seal, this fifth day
day of November, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-one.

Approving and appointing Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS. - In exercise of the powers in me for
this purpose vested by "The Customs Regula-
tion Act, 1858," I, the Commissioner of Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned
warehouse, viz : -
Port of Timaru.
The southern portion of the upper floor of a stone
building, situate in Cain's Terrace, on the eastern
portion of Section No. 22, Rhodes Town, Timaru, to
be known as
THE CENTRAL BOND,
-to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under
bond.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of November, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-one.

sticks, and Extinguishers.
WILLIAM DOUSLIN, of Blenheim, Marlborough,
Architect, has deposited at this office a specification
of the said invention, and I have appointed Friday,
the 10th day of March next, at 10 o'clock in the
forenoon, at this office, to hear the said application
and all objections thereto; and I require all persons
having an interest in opposing the grant of such
Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 6th day
of March next, at this office, particulars in writing
of their objections to the said application, otherwise
they will be precluded from urging the same.

been appointed this day, by his Honor the Chief
Justice, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, in the said colony, under the second
section of "The Commissioners of the Supreme Court
Act, 1875," for the purpose of administering and
taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as
in the said section mentioned.

the first column of the said Schedule, to the specific
purpose specified in the third column of the said
Schedule.
