STIRLING AND BALCLUTHA.
Between Stirling and Balclutha the following rates will be charged for horses,
cattle, sheep, &c.:—
Horses ... ... ... 3s. Od. per head.
Cattle ... ... ... 2s. 6d.
Sheep, pigs, goats, and calves ... 5s. Od. per truck.

INVERCARGILL JETTY AND RAILWAY STATION.

Demurrage at the rate of one pound (£1) per truck per day will be charged on
trucks not loaded or unloaded within 4 working hours after arrival.

All through goods will be booked at ordinary rates, one mile for the Branch Line
between Invercargill Station and Jetty will be added to the mileage to or from
Invercargill.

PART V.—THROUGH RATES.

The following rates will be charged for through goods upon the lines herein
specified, instead of the rates specified in Parts I. and III. :-

AUCKLAND SECTION.
RIVER TRAFFIC.

Through goods of Classes A, B, C, D, and E, between Auckland and the ports of
Whatawhata, Cambridge, and Alexandra, will be charged as follows :-

The transhipment from railway trucks to the river steamers, and vice versa,
will be effected at Ngaruawahia.

AMBERLEY-BLUFF SECTION.
PASSENGERS.
Ordinary Single Tickets from Christchurch to Dunedin, and vice versa, will be
charged 44s. 6d. for first class and 30s. for second class.
