ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of September, 1880.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1880,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council, direct that any part of the colony to be defined therein should be a rabbit district for the purposes of the said Act: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the said Act, doth hereby order and direct that that part of the colony described in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date hereof, be and the same is hereby constituted a district for the purposes of the said Act, and shall be named and known as the Lake Rabbit District, and the boundaries of such district shall be those defined in the Schedule hereto; and, with the like advice and consent, His Excellency doth hereby order that the first election of Trustees for the said district shall be held on the fifteenth day of October next, at the Lake County Council Offices, Queenstown, and doth hereby appoint
JOHN EDGAR
to be the Returning Officer for such first election.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
HIS Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the Governor by “The Electric Telegraph Act, 1875,” and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, doth, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, hereby revoke the regulation made by Order in Council dated the first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, and in lieu thereof doth make the regulation contained in the Schedule hereto; and, in further pursuance and exercise of the said powers, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby order and declare that such regulation shall take effect and remain in force from and after the first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, and that it shall be read with and form part of the regulations now in force.
SCHEDULE.
ALL telegrams despatched to or forwarded from the under-mentioned stations shall bear a charge of sixpence on each telegram in addition to the tariff rates now in force.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

Administrator of the Government.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the Governor by “The Public Health Act, 1876,” I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination districts known as the Dunedin, Port Chalmers, Waikouaiti, North Taieri, and East Taieri Districts; and do declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into six vaccination districts, the names whereof shall be the Blueskin, Port Chalmers, Dunedin, North Taieri, East Taieri, and Waikouaiti Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The Marriage Act, 1880.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the colony, this sixteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty.
