MEDICAL PRACTITIONER'S REGISTRATION.
I, ALEXANDER MILNE ROBERTSON,
Bachelor of Medicine and Master of Surgery
of Edinburgh University, now residing at Arrow-
town, Lake County, hereby give notice that I have
this day deposited my diplomas with the Registrar
of the Dunedin District, and that I intend to apply
to be registered under the New Zealand Medical Act
in one month from the date hereof.

THE CANTERBURY TRAMWAY COMPANY
(LIMITED).
Incorporated under "The Joint-Stock Companies
Act, 1880."
I HEREBY give notice, in accordance with the
provisions of "The Tramways Act, 1872," that the
above Company intends to apply to the Government
for an order,—
-
For power to extend existing lines, and to con-
struct others within the City of Christchurch and its
vicinity. -
The proposed works will embrace,–
(1.) An extension of the Sydenham line from
the Agricultural Show Grounds by way of
Colombo Road, a distance of 29 chains south;
(2) An extension of time for the completion of
the Addington line, under an Order in Coun-
cil granted to the above Company, dated 24th
September, 1878, being route marked No. 2
in such order;
(3.) A line from a point in High Street, on the
corner of Manchester Street, in the city afore-
said, to form a junction with the line as at
presented constructed in High Street to the
East Town Belt, and from the East Town
Belt to the Ferry Bridge, by way of the
Ferry Road, with power to make loop-lines
and sidings in places convenient for the traffic
of the Company.
(4.) A siding from Colombo Street along the
South Town Belt to the Railway Station, as
constructed with the consent of the City
Council. -
The names of the cities, towns, and districts in
which the proposed works are—
(1.) The City of Christchurch;
(2.) The Borough of Sydenham;
(3.) The Heathcote Road Board. -
On or before Monday, 20th September, 1880,
the deposit required in accordance with subsection
(2), section 7, and Part II., Schedule No. 3, of "The
Tramways Act, 1872," will be made at the following
places for public inspection:—
(1.) The Office of the Registrar of the Supreme
Court, Christchurch;
(2.) The City Council Office, Christchurch;
(3.) The Borough Council Office, Sydenham;
(4.) The Heathcote Road Board Office;
(5.) The Public Works Office, Wellington;
(6.) The Office of the Company, in Cathedral
Square, Christchurch. -
The Office of the Canterbury Tramway Com-
pany (Limited), situated in Cathedral Square, in the
City of Christchurch, is the place at which printed
copies of the draft order, when deposited, and of the
order when made, will be obtainable.

SCOULAR AND ARCHIBALD V. TE ARO THEATRE
AND PUBLIC HALL COMPANY (LIMITED).
I HEREBY give notice that, under writ of fieri
facias, duly issued out of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, Wellington District, at the suit of
THOMAS DONALD SCOULAR and ROBERT ARCHIBALD,
of the City of Wellington, Contractors, I have taken
in execution the fee-simple of the Te Aro Theatre
and Public Hall Company (Limited), in all that piece
of land situated in the City of Wellington, con-
taining one rood, more or less; bounded towards the
North, sixty-one feet three inches, and the East, one
hundred feet and ninety-two feet, by other part of
Section two hundred and ten; towards the South-
west, sixty-five feet, by Manners Street; and towards
the West, one hundred and seventy feet, by Section
two hundred and nine; which said piece of land is
part of Section two hundred and ten, delineated on
and is the piece of
land described in the certificate of title entered in the
Register-book, Vol. x., folio 237: and that I intend
to cause the same to be sold at the auction-rooms,
Panama Street, in the City of Wellington, of
Messieurs T. Kennedy Macdonald and Co., after the
expiration of three calendar months from this date,
namely, on Monday, the sixth day of December, 1880,
at two o'clock in the afternoon.
The Solicitor for the Execution Creditors is Mr.
Charles William Cutten, of Messieurs Moorhouse,
Edwards, and Cutten, Featherston Street, Wel-
lington.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Loyal Sons of
Perseverance Lodge, Riverton, 5219, M.U.,
I.O.O.F., Friendly Society Register No. 74, held at
Riverton, is dissolved by instrument, registered at
this office the 16th day of September, 1880, unless
within three months from the date of the Gazette in
which this advertisement appears proceedings be
commenced by a member, or other person interested
in or having any claim on the funds of the society,
to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set
aside accordingly.
