pany. - The above statement is, to the best of my belief
and knowledge, true in every particular; and I make
this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the
same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The
Justices of the Peace Act, 1866."

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Victoria Gold-Mining Company as
a Limited Company under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies Act, 1872."
- The name of the Company is to be the Victoria Gold-
Mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations or intended operations is at
Hindon. - The registered office of the Company will be situated at
Dunedin. - The nominal capital of the Company is six thousand
pounds sterling, in twelve thousand shares of ten shillings
each. - The number of shares subscribed for is twelve thousand,
being the total number of shares in the Company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is five shillings per share.
- The name of the Manager is Joseph Frederick Watson.
- The names, addresses, and occupations of the shareholders,

TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned
has proclaimed a County Road in
accordance with section 88 of "The Public Works
Act, 1876:" All that portion of road from the West
Taieri Bridge to Hindon; and, at the request of the
Outram Road Board, 10 feet on either side of the
county road through the Township of Outram has
been declared a district road, and placed under the
supervision of the Board.

IN pursuance of the 88th section of "The Public
Works Act, 1876," the Waipawa County Coun-
cil have taken over all the Public Roads in the
County as County Roads within the meaning of the
"Public Works Act, 1876."
