Marlborough, containing 192 acres and 15 perches,
more or less, situate in the Survey District of Kai-
koura Suburban, and being Sections numbered 62,
83, 84, and 85 on the plan of the said district, in the
Survey Office, Blenheim.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
tenth day of August, 1880.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the eleventh section of "The Public
Reserves Act, 1877," I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, do hereby order and
declare that the reserve made for public recreation
in the Provincial District of Otago, and known
as the Hawkesbury Commonage Recreation-ground,
and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and
the same is hereby brought under the operation of
and declared to be subject to the provisions of "The
Public Domains Act, 1860," and its amending Acts;
and such domain shall hereafter be managed, ad-
ministered, and dealt with in manner directed by
the said Acts.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by
admeasurement (excluding the exemptions there-
from) 155 acres 2 roods, more or less, situate in the
Town of Hawkesbury, and being that portion of said
town lying towards the east of Kirkwall and Wick
Streets. Bounded towards the North by the northern
boundary of said township, also by Cemetery Reserve;
towards the East by the eastern boundary of said
township and Cemetery Reserve; towards the South
by part of the unsurveyed portion of said town and
the southern boundaries of Sections 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,
and 12. of Block LXXI.; towards the West by
Kirkwall and Wick Streets, also by Cemetery
Reserve, which area is exclusive of the following
sections and portions of street-lines, viz., Sections
10 and 11, Block XVIII., Section 1, Block XXVII.,
Section 4, Block XLIII., Sections 1 to 22, Block
XLVIII., Sections 1 to 5, Block XLIX., Sections
17 to 21, Block LVI, and Section 1, Block LXI.;
also the following portions of street-lines, viz., parts
of Banff Street, Aberdeen Street, Cross Street
between Aberdeen and Banff Streets, Cupar Street,
Kinross Street, Inverary Street, Rothsay Street,
Dumbarton Street, Linlithgow Street, Leith Street,
Waddington Street, Greenlaw Street, and Dornoch
Street.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council, bearing date
the eleventh day of February, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty, made and issued under
the authority of "The Public Domains Act, 1860,"
"The Public Domains Act, 1865," and "The Public
Reserves Act, 1877," certain powers were, in respect
of certain lands referred to in a further Order in
Council of the same date, made and issued under
"The Public Reserves Act, 1877," aforesaid, dele-
gated to Alfred Chetham Strode, McLeod Clement
Orbell, John Duncan, William Mill, Archibald Grant
Reid, and Donald Mallock:

And whereas, pursuant to the provisions of the
Acts aforesaid, by an Order in Council of even date
herewith, the land described in the Schedule thereto
was declared to be brought under and to be subject
to the said "Public Domains Act, 1860:"

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, by virtue and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by "The Public Domains
Act, 1860," aforesaid, and by and with the advice of
the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby
revoke the Order in Council dated the eleventh day
of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty,
aforesaid, delegating the Governor's powers to the
above-named persons; and do hereby further dele-
gate, in respect of the lands referred to in the afore-
said Order in Council of the eleventh day of
February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty,
and the Order in Council of even date herewith, all
the powers conferred by "The Public Domains Act,
1860," except the powers under or conferred by
subsections five and ten of section five and section
eleven, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be
known as the Hawkesbury Domain Board:--

ALFRED CHETHAM STRODE,
MCLEOD CLEMENT ORBELL,
JOHN DUNCAN,
WILLIAM MILL,
ARCHIBALD GRANT REID,
DONALD MALLOCK,
JOSEPH BATES, and
STEPHEN LETHAM
(herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say, -

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of
    business on the first Monday in each month, at two
    o'clock p.m., at the Courthouse, Hawkesbury, or at
    such other time or place as may from time to time
    be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be
    held on Monday, the thirtieth day of August, one
    thousand eight hundred and eighty.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chair-
    man, or by any two members of the Board, provided
    that two days' notice of such meeting be given to
    each member, specifying the business to be trans-
    acted at such special meeting, and no other business
    than that so specified shall be transacted at such
    meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a
    quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time
    to time.

  4. The members of the Board shall, at their first
    meeting, and thereafter at an annual meeting to be
    held on the first Monday in February in every suc-
