Land set apart on Deferred Payments in Otago.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of "The
Land Act, 1877," it is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from
time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural
lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall
think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred
payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day
on which the land shall be open for application; and
that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on
deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may
be recommended by any Land Board, and may also
from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such
Proclamation:

And whereas the Land Board of Otago did, on the
twenty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty, pass a resolution recommending that the
land described in the Schedule hereto annexed should
be set apart for sale on deferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the
aforesaid recommendation, and to set apart the said
land accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on
deferred payments; and that Wednesday, the fifteenth
day of September, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty, shall be the day on which the said land shall
be open for application at the Land Office at Dunedin,
in allotments as surveyed and marked on the selection
map in that office.

And, further, in pursuance of the fifth section of
"The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I do
hereby fix the price at which the land so described
shall be sold to be the price set opposite each allot-
ment in the Schedule hereto.

under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
fourth day of August, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty.

deferred payments; and that Thursday, the sixteenth
day of September, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty, shall be the day on which the said lands shall
be open for application at the Land Office at Inver-
cargill, in allotments as surveyed and marked on the
selection map in that office.

And, in pursuance of the fifth section of "The
Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1879," I do hereby
fix the price at which the land so described shall be
sold to be the price set opposite each allotment in
the Schedule hereto.
