PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, passed in
the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty
Queen Victoria, and intituled "The Marriage Act,
1854," the following names of Officiating Ministers
within the meaning of the said Act are published for
general information :--
Primitive Methodist Connection.

Roman Catholic Church.
The Reverend Michael McCaughey.

Dissolution by Instrument.
Registrar of Friendly Societies' Office,

NOTICE is hereby given that the Loyal Rangitikei
Lodge, No. 12, a branch of the Independent
Order of Odd Fellows of New Zealand, Friendly
Society, Register No. 140, held at Rangitikei, is
dissolved by instrument, registered at this office the
30th day of June, 1880, unless, within three months
from the date of the Gazette in which this advertise-
ment appears, proceedings be commenced by a
member or other person interested in or having any
claim on the funds of the Lodge to set aside such
dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

Daughters of Temperance of Australasia
Friendly Society, at Rothesay, near Dunedin, in the
Colony of New Zealand, is registered as a friendly
society under "The Friendly Societies Act, 1877,"
this 30th day of June, 1880.

THE second half-yearly term will begin on Monday,
19th July, 1880. It is indispensable that intend-
ing pupil-boarders enter at the beginning of the
term.
Information as to terms, method of instruction, &c.,
may be obtained on application to the Director of
the Institution, the Secretaries and Inspectors of the
several Education Boards, and the undersigned.

Agricultural Lease cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Go-
vernor has been pleased to pronounce the under-
mentioned agricultural lease cancelled, and that the
ground is now open for application as if no lease of
the said ground had ever been applied for.
William Theodore Goldammer; 195 acres and 10
perches, Section 10, Block VII., District of Waihemo,
Otago Gold Field.

Governor has been pleased to pronounce the
under-mentioned gold-mining lease cancelled, and
that the ground is now open for application as if no
lease of the said land had ever been applied for:-
William Calvert and others; 9 acres, Section 41,
Block IV., Waitakere District, Nelson South-West
Gold Fields.

Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regula-
tions made under that Act for the granting of leases
for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it
is intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the
annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objec-
tions against such leases.
Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writ-
ing, and lodged with the Warden at Black's on or
before the 3rd day of August, 1880.
Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Black's.
SCHEDULE.
APPLICANTS: William Greenbank and others. Style
under which it is intended to conduct the business:
"Matakanui Race Company." 10 acres, at New
Town, Tinker's, in the Dunstan Mining Distriet.
