NAPIER SWAMP NUISANCE ACTS.

TO CHARLES HERMANN WEBER, Civil Engineer,
Napier, or other the owner of Town Section No.
382, of the Borough of Napier.

NOTICE is hereby given, under and by virtue of
"The Napier Swamp Nuisance Act, 1875," and
"The Napier Swamp Nuisance Act Continuance Act,
1877," that, unless the sum of Β£757 Os. 11d., being
the actual cost of filling in and reclaiming your land,
being Town Section No. 382 on the plan of the Town
of Napier, situate in the Napier Town Swamp,
together with interest on the said sum from the day
of the date hereof, at the rate of six pounds per
centum per annum, be paid to the said Corporation
on or before the 21st day of November, 1880,
the said land will, under and by virtue of the pro-
visions of the said Acts, be sold to defray the cost of
such filling in and reclamation as aforesaid, and in-
terest as aforesaid.

Dated at the Town Clerk's Office, Napier, this
7th day of May, 1880.

and Grahame's claim), containing by admeasurement
two (2) acres three (3) roods three (3) perches,
more or less, commencing at a point in the eastern
boundary of Allotment No. 149, and distant from its
north-easternmost corner 2225 links.

Schedule 4. All that area situate in the Parish of
Wairau, being portion of Allotment No. 147 (Wright
and Grahame's claim), containing by admeasurement
seven (7) acres and thirty-two (32) perches, more or
less, commencing at a point in the northern boundary
of Allotment No. 149, distant from its north-eastern-
most corner 2800 links.

Schedule 5. All that area situate in the Parish of
Wairau, being a portion of the Wairau Block, con-
taining by admeasurement eleven (11) perches, more
or less, commencing at a point in the north-eastern
boundary thereof distant from its northernmost
corner 1160 links.

Schedule 6. All that area situate in the Parish of
Wairau, being a portion of the Wairau Block, con-
taining by admeasurement four (4) perches, more or
less, commencing at the northernmost corner of the
Wairau Block aforesaid.

Schedule 7. All that area situate in the Parish of
Wairau, being a portion of the Wairau Block, con-
taining by admeasurement one (1) rood thirty-
two (32) perches, more or less, commencing at a
point in the north-western boundary thereof distant
from its northernmost corner 618 links.

Schedule 8. All that area situate in the Parish of
Wairau, being portion of Wright and Grahame's
claim, containing by admeasurement two (2) acres,
more or less, commencing at the northernmost
corner of the Wairau Block aforesaid.

Schedule 9. All that area situate in the Parish of
Wairau, being portion of Wright and Grahame's
claim, containing by admeasurement one (1) rood
twenty-nine (29) perches, more or less, com-
mencing at a point in the eastern boundary of the
Wairau Block distant from its northernmost corner
555 links.

Schedule 10. All that area situate in the Parish
of Wairau, being portion of Allotment No. 63, con-
taining by admeasurement two (2) acres and nineteen
(19) perches, more or less, commencing at a point
in the road-line which forms the northern boundary
of Allotment No. 63, distant from its north-eastern-
most corner 817 links.

Plans of the above-mentioned areas of land have
been deposited at the residence of the Chairman of
the Wairau Highway District, and are now open for
inspection. Any person affected by the execution of
such works or the taking of such lands shall set
forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the
execution of such works or the taking of such lands,
and send such writing, within forty days from the
publication of such notice, to the Wairau Highway
Road Board.

IN THE MATTER OF "THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT,
1876."

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of
the Hawke's Bay County Council to take cer-
tain lands hereinafter particularly described for the
purpose of constructing a road, and all persons
affected are hereby requested to set forth in writing
any well-grounded objection to the execution of such
work or to the taking such lands, and to send such
writing within forty days from the date of publication
hereof to the Chairman of the Hawke's Bay County
Council; and notice is further given that the plans of
the said lands and works are open for inspection at
the office of the said County Council, and at the office
of the Meanee Road Board District, and the following
is the description of the said land :-

All that parcel of land situate in the Papakura
District, containing by admeasurement one acre one
rood and twelve and a half perches, being part of
Section No. 2 on the second map of the said district,
and comprised within the following boundaries.
Bounded towards the North-west by a public road
one thousand links and seven hundred and twenty-
six links, and portion of the said Section No. 2 eight
hundred and five links; towards the North-east by
Section No. 1 of the said Papakura District, one
hundred links; and towards the South by other por-
tion of the said Section No. 2, two thousand five
hundred and twenty-three links, back to the starting
point at corner of Section No. 4.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairau Highway
Board proposes to take the following parcels of
land, situate in the Survey District of Waipu, Pro-
vincial District of Auckland, for public works,
namely, for the purposes of roads and landing-
places:-
