Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls
for Ridings in the County of Waipawa.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
eighteenth day of May, 1880.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that
certain things required to be done by "The
Counties Act, 1876," in connection with the making
and revision of the county roll of certain ridings of
the County of Waipawa, cannot be done by or within
the times required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the power
and authority vested in him by the two hundred and
eleventh section of the said Act, and by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, doth hereby extend the time for the
doing of the said things in connection with the
county roll of the Waipawa, Patangata, Ruataniwha,
and Norsewood Ridings, County of Waipawa, and
doth declare that the time for the doing of such
several things shall be those which are specified in
the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ROLL shall be open for inspection: From the 17th
May, 1880, until the 7th June, 1880.
Objections to roll received: Until the 7th June,
1880.
Day appointed for revision of roll: Some day on
or after the 17th June, 1880, but Revision Court
shall not sit after the 26th June, 1880.
Roll shall come into force: On the 1st July, 1880.

Constituting Masterton Rabbit District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
eighteenth day of May, 1880.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Rabbit Nuisance Act 1876
Amendment Act, 1877," it is enacted that, in
addition to the power of proclaiming districts given
by the third section of "The Rabbit Nuisance Act,
1876," the Governor might from time to time, by
Order in Council, direct that any part of the colony
to be defined therein should be a rabbit district for
the purposes of "The Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1876:"
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by the firstly hereinbefore recited Act, doth hereby
order and direct that that part of the colony described
in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date
hereof, be and the same is hereby constituted a
district for the purposes of "The Rabbit Nuisance
Act, 1876," and shall be named and known as the
Masterton Rabbit District, and the boundaries of such
district shall be those defined in the Schedule hereto;
and, with the like advice and consent, His Excel-
lency doth hereby order that the first election of
Trustees for the said district shall be held on the
twenty-sixth day of June next, at the Courthouse,
Masterton.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that district comprised within the Alfredton
and Masterton Ridings of the County of Wairarapa
West.

Reserves Act, 1877," I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, do hereby order and
declare that that portion of the reserve made for public
recreation in the Provincial District of Wellington,
and known as the Waverley Recreation-ground, and
