Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in
pursuance and exercise of all powers enabling him
in this behalf, doth hereby, with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, also
assign the said Westland District, as defined by the
said Order in Council dated the first day of April,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight, unto

Altering Place of Sittings of District Court,
Auckland.

HERCULES ROBINSON, Governor.

WHEREAS by "The District Courts Act, 1858,"
it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the
Governor from time to time, by notification in the
New Zealand Gazette, to fix the places within the
district at which every District Court shall he held:

And whereas by warrant bearing date the twenty-
second day of May, one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-six, sittings of the District Court of Auckland
were appointed to be held, and it is expedient to
alter the place of sittings of the said Court:

Now, therefore, I, Hercules George Robert Robin-
son, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the said power and
authority in me vested in this behalf, do hereby fix
and appoint that, from and after the nineteenth day
of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty,
the building formerly used as the Supreme Court-
house, in Eden Street, in the City of Auckland, shall
be the place at which the District Court of Auckland
shall be held, and that the said District Court shall
then cease to be held in the present Supreme Court-
house in the City of Auckland, in which the said
District Court is now held.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twelfth day of March, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Approving St. Mary's Orphanage Schools, Nelson, as
an Industrial School for the purposes of "The
Neglected and Criminal Children Act, 1867."

HERCULES ROBINSON, Governor.

WHEREAS the Saint Mary's Orphanage Schools
at Nelson were established by private contri-
butions, and are supported in part out of public
revenues of the Provincial District of Nelson: Now,
therefore, I, Hercules George Robert Robinson, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by virtue
and in pursuance of the power and authority vested
in me by the ninth section of "The Neglected and
Criminal Children Act, 1867," and "The Abolition
of Provinces Act, 1875," and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, do hereby
approve the said schools as an industrial school for
the purposes of the hereinbefore first-mentioned
Act; and it is hereby also stated and declared that
the said school is supported for children of the
Roman Catholic Church exclusively.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, at Wellington, this tenth day
of March, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty.

Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and au-
thorities vested in me by the second section
of "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I, Sir
Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the
several persons whose names are specified in the
first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to
provide for the maintenance and care of the public
cemetery specified in the second column of the said
Schedule.
