NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

To the Mining Registrar at Roxburgh of the
Dunstan Mining District, and all other persons
whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race and divert water for domestic pur-
poses, commencing at a point at Knight's Creek, in
Section 7, Block VIII., Benger District, and termi-
nating on Section 6 of the same block. The length
of such race is one mile or thereabouts, and its in-
tended course is north and south-west. The mean
breadth and depth of such race is 18 inches by 1 foot,
and it is proposed to divert one Government-head of
water.

In the matter of the Age Co-operative Newspaper
Company (Limited), and in the matter of "The
Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860," and the several
amendments thereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary
Meeting of the Shareholders of the above-
named Company will be held on Friday, the 20th
day of February, 1880, at the hour of 3 o'clock in the
afternoon, at the office of J. P. Roberts, Manse
Street, Dunedin, for the purpose of passing the
following resolutions:β€”

  1. That the Age Co-operative Newspaper Com-
    pany (Limited) be forthwith wound up voluntarily.
  2. That a Liquidator or Liquidators, whose name
    or names shall be determined by the meeting, shall
    90 be appointed for the purpose of winding up the
    affairs of the Company, and distributing its property
    and assets; and that they be paid for their services
    a remuneration to be determined by the meeting.

I HEREBY give notice that, under a writ of fieri
facias
, duly issued out of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, at the suit of FRANK SLEE, of Wai-
mate, in the County of Waimate, Licensed Land
Broker, I have taken in execution the fee-simple of
MARGARET EVANS, Wife of ROBERT EVANS, of Wai-
mate aforesaid, Blacksmith, and the life estate of the
said Robert Evans, in all that parcel of land situated
in the Waitangi District (i.e., at Waimate aforesaid),
containing thirty-two perches, being the land described
in certificate of title, Vol. xv., folio 79: And that
I intend to cause the same to be sold at the auction-
rooms of George Randall Freeman, at Waimate
aforesaid, on the twenty-second day of May, 1880,
93 at eleven o'clock in the forenoon.
