LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that all that parcel of
land, being Allotments 3, 4, and 5, Block II.,
Township of Duntroon, comprised in certificates of
title, Register-book, Vol. xxiii., folio 194, and Vol.
xxix., folio 205, is hereby offered for sale; and,
further, that unless within one calendar month from
the date of the Gazette containing this notice a suffi-
cient amount shall have been realized by the sale of
said land to satisfy the principal and interest moneys
due on a certain memorandum of mortgage registered
in this office as No. 2948, and all expenses of said
sale or incidental thereto, an order will be issued by
me in favour of the Hon. ROBERT CAMPBELL,
the Younger, of Otekaike, Runholder, the Mortgagee,
pursuant to section 127 of "The Land Transfer
Act, 1870," foreclosing GEORGE ALEXANDER
HARRIS, of Duntroon, Hotelkeeper, and all persons
claiming through or under him, from all right and
equity of redemption of and in the said land.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that unless within one
month from the date of the Gazette containing
this notice there be tendered to me, for the purchase
of the fee-simple of all those pieces of land, contain-
ing 180 acres, and comprising the Rural Sections
numbered 16105, 18314, 22520, 30511, in the County
of Geraldine, a sum sufficient to satisfy the principal,
interest, and other charges due on a mortgage
thereof given by JOHN COLL, of Timaru, Farmer,
to NICHOLAS QUINN and WILLIAM QUINN,
both of Makikihi, Farmers, I shall issue a fore-
closure order in favour of the mortgagees, unless in
the meantime a caveat be lodged, or an injunction
issued by the Supreme Court, forbidding the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.

To the Mining Registrar at Westport of the Nelson
South-West Mining District, and all other persons
whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race and divert from a point commencing
in Corr's Dam, Waite's, Pakihis, which is situate on
the seaward side of the Government Road, and about
a mile therefrom. The length of the proposed race
is one mile or thereabouts. The mean depth is about
three feet, and the width is about three feet. The
course of the said race is east and west. The said
race terminates at the Maori Reserve No. 48. It is
intended that the said race shall carry about ten
heads of water.

The dimensions of the dam or reservoir constructed
as above mentioned is about one hundred and fifty
acres.

REMARKS. The said race has been constructed
about three years, and has been used in connection
with the saw-mill at the Maori Pa, but no registra-
tion was ever obtained for the same, and the said
water-race is required for driving the said saw-mill.
